Malty, smooth, mild bitterness compliments well. Dark amber color, with nice head retention. Balance between the malt and hops is great.

Pours a clear, brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of nut, hint of roasted malt, and a hint of yeast. Slightly fits the style of an Extra Special / Strong Bitter. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of nut, hint of roasted malt, hint of hops, and slight yeast. Overall, average appearance, but aroma and body do represent a classic ESB, more or a Mild.
