Wheat-heavy Berliner weisse soured with two strains of Lactobacillus then boiled with berry-forward Huell Melon hops. The finished beer is aged over hundreds of pounds of fresh raspberries.

Super thanks to stevie for hooking up the goandpickitupformebro can! If looks could kill this beer would be known as "the butcher" in small tribal villages. Gorgeous lavender. Nose is raspberry spritzer. But with deeper fruit and a hint of eggines. Taste is a bit lighter than the nose and more spritzer like, but this is the best raspberry beer I've had since new glarud. Local crew done good.... can't wait to check it out!

Poured from a 16 ounce bottle into a glass. Bottled a few weeks back.
5/4/3.5/3.5/3.5
A gorgeous, deep ruby body with a cotton-candy colored head that rises two and a half fingers before fading to a third of that. Spritely and entrancing, the quality of color is remarkable.
Smells acidic and naturally fruit, like fresh pressed berries.
Tastes a little muddled. Tart and malty, with a little bit of sock-funk à la gose. The acidity is pleasant and heavily fruited, but there is an unpleasant flatness. I'm not sure whether to attribute it to the bottling process, the malt, or the aforementioned funk. There is enough carbonation that this doesn't nerf the mouthfeel, but it does impair it. The aftertaste is mostly fruit peel and acid and minerality. Very nice.
I recall liking this a lot more at the brewery. So it goes! I think the base beer could use some improvement, but the raspberry edition seems on point. I would try again in the future.
