Gold Star Beer Counter, Brooklyn.
A- Headless opaque yellow apricot hue from draft to a teku. No lace happening here but the color is unique and it looks nice.
S- Stone fruit and lactic fermentation summarizes the overall aroma. Peach and mango notes can be found but its not super distinct more like tart general stone fruit pits and all feel. Whole grains.
T- The peaches come out quite a bit more here than in the aroma and if anything it takes on a sour underripe stone fruit feel with lingering peach and mango hints. Whole grains and a light sweetness underlies the fruits. Lemony lactic acid.
MF- Light overall body and a high end crisp and spritzy carbonation. A touch of a foamy texture and a sour finish.
A lot of good lactic acid and graininess with fresh hints of sour stone fruits. Peach comes out a bit more.
