Our German-style Pilsner is brewed with the finest heirloom German pilsner malt and goes through an intensive step mash before being decidedly hopped in the kettle with Tettnang and Saphir hops.

Pours a clear yellow straw color. A well retaining foam head yields lacing.

The nose opens mostly clean, however soon produces sweet aromas of bready and biscuity malts. There are light notes of earthy and grassy hops, citrus and touch of caramel.

Clean Pilsner malt flavors, bready, biscuity and cracker like evoke sweetness. A clean but assertive bitterness ensues, very balancing and quite tasty. Herbal notes of grass, moderately spicy yeast and citrus. The finish is dry.

Light bodied and easy drinking. The mouthfeel is crisp yet with a lightly doughy softness. The carbonation is moderate to lively.

Right on the money for style and easy to crush as evidenced by the fact that I drank two in a row. I would have again.

Pours golden with mild haze, sudsy white head. Floral lime zest on the nose. It's very spicy hop forward. The body is a little lacking, even for a pils, meaning that it lacks some of the depth and dimension that I look for in a beer like this. This is enjoyable enough, but not a stand out for me.

PKGD 08/11/20 stamped on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Hazy darker golden with 1-finger off-white head which dissipated rather quickly and leaves a craggy but think line of lacing.

S: Aroma is delicious intense noble hop with floral, spice, grassy, and herbal qualities with slight hint of lemon. Mild pale pils maltiness.

T: Flavor is solid all around, also packs a fair amount of hop flavor intensity with floral, herbal, grassy notes with light citrus kiss followed by bready pils maltiness with some honey-like sweetness. Bitterness is medium and could be knocked up a tick given the amount of sweet maltiness. Clean with no yeast character.

M: Clean and crisp but could this quality could be increased a notch — it could be a bit leaner. Still, it drinks wonderfully with medium body and high carbonation.

O: An exceptional pilsner with good hop intensity in all areas and excellent drinkability,.

12 oz can, about 2.5 months old

I picked this up at a local store without much context. It was $5 for the 12oz can, which is ridiculous. I probably would have put it back if I knew the price but it wasn't listed.

A solid take on a german pilsner, but nothing that special.

growler fill from Beer Boutique, Brooklyn December 21 2019. Nice orange gold color, thin head to sticky lacing throughout . Grass and classic German hops up front. Slight sweetness, but not unpleasant. Great dry finish . Solid beer I’d buy again .

This one pours a light orange-ish color, clear, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like grassy hops, floral hops, and slightly sweet malt.

I'd want a little bit less of sweetness, but this is still very tasty. The hop character is right on here, slightly spicy, with some grassiness and a touch of slightly sweet floral hops.

This is extremely crisp and clean, with a light and smooth finish. I could drink way too much of this.
