On tap at Folksbier, Brooklyn, NY.
Pours a very hazy orange color. A thumb length creamy head retains well and shows lacing.
The nose opens with notes of tropical fruit and zesty citrus. Juicy aromas of pineapple, mango, guava and passion fruit are accompanied by bright notes of kiwi and lime. Further in, the hops aromas become increasingly earthy, pungent and dank, evoking notes of verbena and grass.
The malt base evokes dry cracker and creamy oats which quickly give way to bright and zesty fruity hops flavors. Notes of pineapple, mango, kiwi, grapefruit, lime and lemon pith, are balanced by a touch of herbal bitterness and grassy and peppery spices.
Medium bodied with a smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel. The finish is dry with notes of resin and spice. The carbonation is moderate.
Nice easy drinking IPA! I love how the New Zealand hops character shine through. I would have again.

16oz can into Night Shift stemware.
Beer is muddy but with a nice, pillowy head. Nose is pineapple, starfruit and citrus. Good balance, juicy and soft. Beer opens pineapple, papaya and starfruit. Some kiwi, lychee and citrus in the middle and more papaya and some apricot and cane sugar on the finish. Juicy with a real nice dank fruit presence. Body is light with moderate to ample carbonation. Slightly prickly but mostly soft on the palate and goes down dry with a sticky finish. Super drinkable.
This is excellent. Congrats to Joey Pepper for finally making it! You deserve the accolades!
