This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like mandarin orange slices, slightly sweet lemony funk, acidity, and a bit of prickliness.
This is far from a fruit bomb, and that works just fine for me. The fruity orange sweetness works well with the fairly sour base here, and balances things out. It finishes very dry, without the acidity getting out of control.
This is light bodied, and very clean, with a great drinkability.
I definitely want to try more from this series - it seems like there's quite a bit of entries.

12oz. can into Night Shift stemware.
Nose is Sunkist with fresh squeezed orange juice. Tart, sweet and bright and lively. Beer opens orange peel and pulp. I also get foam, tart lemon and more orange in the middle. A light funkiness right at the end. Refreshing, flavorful and simple. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and foamy on the palate and aggressive going down. Crisp finish with a slightly puckering and oily aftertaste that lingers. Super drinkable.
Really a very good yet simple berliner. I could drink gallons of this stuff!
