Coming out of the can it pours a pale golden straw color that looks darker in glass. A thumbnail size head quickly dissipates.

Funky aromas emit tartness. Aromas of watermelon are immediately evident, as are notes of lemon sorbet. The malt nose has notes of lightly toasted wheat bread.

As expected, the flavors are tart but not too mouth puckering. They really get the balance right as the watermelon flavors add a fruity sweetness. Notes of lemon and lime sorbet, wheat and sourdough bread. The finish is dry and tart, yet not too acidic.

Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Despite the sour flavors, the mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth and mouth coating.

This is a nice Berliner Weisse that is easy to drink. The tartness is accessible and not too intense, while the watermelon sorbet flavors add a nice touch.
