Poured from a can (can’t read the stamp, released 23Jun2021 - second batch) into a tall Italian pilsner glass
L: pours a slightly turbid yellow gold (srm ~2) with a moderate bright white head. Becomes very turbid with the bottom of the can, am guessing it’s an unfiltered pils and had settled. Nice slight lacing when the head fades, each sip leaves the same
S: despite the dry hopping the nose isn’t as in your face as I expected. In fact it’s fairly muted, at least that’s what I’m finding. That said it’s a nice aroma, some malt character and good noble hop notes. Slight earthy notes, floral spice
T: follows the nose well, a bit more hop and malt oomph than the nose suggests but I’d say on the lighter end overall. Finish lingers nicely, some earthy floral bite, grassy. While a bit more than the nose, it’s a good, general pilsner flavor that I like but it lacks a special something
F: medium carbonation, medium body, moderately drying
O: a very solid Italian pilsner that just leaves me wanting a bit more on the nose and swallow. It’s great, very drinkable, but again there’s something missing for me
