L- Pours a hazy yellow with a slight red tinge. Creamy 1 1/2 finger white head with excellent retention, thick lacing.
S- Smells strongly of tart strawberry and slightly sour kiwi.
T- Much of the same in the flavour - tart strawberry that is balanced nicely by a kiwi acidity.
F- Fairly substantial body with very moderate carbobnation. Despite the body it is an easy drink and doesn't feel overbearing.
O- I wouldn't describe myself as a Fruit Beer fan, but a well crafted one Fruit Beer certainly deserves it's place - Starblast is not exempt from this rule. It's not only delicious, but it quite refreshing and would make a killer patio beer. I must say that I think this beer could really benefit from a lighter body, but it's perfectly fine the way it is.
