Appearance is a bright honey color with a relatively thin amount of medium density head. Aroma has light smoke and some caramel malts. On the tongue, the smoke is more pronounced, but still relatively subtle for the style. Some light caramel malts balance out the smoke. Light bodied and very, very easy drinking.
Overall, a little less smoke than I prefer, but for the average person, this is probably a good thing. I still really enjoyed it. I have a soft spot for easy drinking, well made beers, which this is.

Misty, amber-copper body, with a moderate off-white head and decent retention of a minute or two.
The distinct smoky aroma is dominant, peaty, and balanced by a caramel malt backbone.
Like drinking a campfire, but soft and supple, not burning. Warming, and peaty like a scotch, but again balanced by grain-sweet malt, mildly of butterscotch. Very light sense of hops, aiding a medium-dry finish. Medium body and carbonation, which is fine and frothy.
An intriguing and delectable flame-kissed brew, would be a great pairing with sticky toffee pudding. I don't have much to compare it to, but this seems like a solid example of the style.
