Notes:
Brewed with German wheat and malt and finished with an American ale yeast. It’s clean and crisp with a touch of orange flavor from the Pacifica hops we use to brew this unfiltered beer.

much like their brown ale in here, there is not much to get excited about in this wheat beer. they seem to be doing little more than making base styles pretty well, this has almost nothing at all distinct about it, although it is pretty well executed, i just am entirely uninspired by the recipe itself. looks the part, pale honey colored in the glass with a little haze and a short white head. the wheat malt is very mild here, probably mashed quite cool, the flavor is not underdeveloped, but its rather one dimensional, and without anything exciting happening with yeast or hops in this one, it ends up being a pretty boring beer to me, despite having no flaws whatsoever and having a pretty nice mouthfeel. i cant imagine anyone ever hating this, but at the same time, this will never be anyones favorite beer ever. i hope these guys open it up a little and start getting a bit more creative with their stuff, these beers dont even have names for goodness sake. maybe there are beer drinkers in lincoln who like and need it this simple, but this was pretty forgettable for me.
