Thanks goes out to Buck89 for this brew.

16 oz. Can

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy yellowish color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, apricot, peach), some diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, apricot, peach), nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, another pretty tasty brew from these guy's. Thanks John!

I'm trying this at Jack Brown's beer and burger bar in Murfreesboro, TN. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was a citrus and pine presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall...this is a solid beer.

Poured from a can into an IPA glass. A very hazy golden-orange color with a modest white head that retreated briskly but left some nice tracks. Looks like a typical NE-style IPA. Fresh and great aromas: dank and tropical on the nose. Smelled like mainly Amarillo hops to me, with resin, fruit, and berries. The taste followed the nose closely: tangerine, berries, some mango, and dank, resiny notes with a bit of bitter grapefruit pith. A soft feel appropriate for the NEIPA style and moderately bitter. Moderately carbed and dry on the finish.
TailGate doesn't seem to get much love from local beer geeks but IMO this is a very nice IPA and I'm happy to see them evolve and to get this regularly.
