Thanks goes out to Buck89 for this brew.
16 oz. Can
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy dark orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, slight grapefruit, slight mango), with some diesel like. The taste is really nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, slight grapefruit, slight mango), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very tasty brew, surprised me. Addictive! Orange Julius! Thanks John!

Can, no date:
Pours cloudy, with a couple flecks of coagulated protein/yeast seen falling from the can, though they don't show up in the glass of dirty yellow-orange. Nice snow dusting of head, with a long drift against the glass wall.
Nose is spot on for the juicy unfiltered IPA, a raw piney aspect acts as the backdrop for a grapefruit, orange, pineapple juice. The nose is strong initially, but surprisingly takes a little more effort as I get into this review.
Feel is a little watery initially, but I needed to let it warm from fridge temp. Medium body, it still doesn't reach the softness of other NE IPAs. It has a subdued prickliness in its carbonation - a soft prickliness, but prickly nonetheless. A light rawness in the bitter ending adds some texture as well.
The beer comes across a little more bitter than juicy - counter to that first whiff, but more in line with subsequent ones. A mix of cereal, maybe some oat, and an non-sweet orange juice open the taste. The juice gains an ever so slight tropical sweetness, but really has a green wood to earthy bitterness that does a fair job of neutralizing any juiciness. Ending gets a little green tropical fruit rind and grassy, gaining a bit on the bitter scale, but not too much.
A little more raw, green, bitter than I expect from most unfiltered IPAs. This is unexpected, but not necessarily bad. The bitterness did seem to dull the flavors a tad - and didn't bring enough to the table itself to replace what it quelled, in my opinion. I feel this improved with warmth, so I'd suggest letting it get to a proper temperature.

16oz can poured into a nonic pint glass. Very hazy but not turbid. Golden color with a beautiful creamy off-white head. Impressive retention and the foam reluctantly settled into a resilient cap, leaving sturdy tracks in the glass. The aromas came through right from the can on the pour: pineapple, tropical fruit, mango, and orange. Not much malt and only a touch of earth tones. The taste followed the nose with bright fruit as above. The Citra notes seemed to dominate over the Galaxy, but they played nicely. A dry, slightly biscuity malt presence. Definitely a softer feel and softer bitterness. Well done.
