Can, no date:
Pours a pale yellow, without much lasting head as is typical of a sour beer..
Nose is actualy heavy on kiwi to me (of all things). Sour notes that aren't killer, kiwi, lime, passion fruit impressions.
The malt infusion on the taste turns that kiwi and compliments into a more watermelon sour-like taste. The lime and passion fruit have a little say, but a lightly sour watermelon impression is my take. Thinking about the candy, the slightly "rubbing" feel of the beer does give me a pause to think, I can see a little bit of the old school candy here.
A fun beer that is tart enough, bordering on sour. Some interesting fruit notes beyond the main souring note (assuming lactic acid or similar) makes it less of a straightforward Berliner, but thankfully doesn't detract from enjoyment.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. A hazy golden color with a frothy and generous white head. The foam settled at a brisk pace, leaving a few laces. Aromas of citrus zest, wheat, and a hint of that kettle-sour lactic acid scent. Not off or offensive, but there. The beer tasted as billed, pleasingly tart but not overdone. I tasted mostly grapefruit, but other citrus notes were there. A fresh fruity tartness left my palate on the back. Clean and dry. The feel was medium-bodied and not too thin. Very enjoyable.
