TailGate Brewery "Orange Wheat"
$7 / pint on tap @ Tailgate Brewery CT02, Nashville International Airport, Nashville, TN

Look: Hazy brass-orange body beneath a finger’s width of white foam. Very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Strong, candy-like orange aroma over a wheaty malt base.
Taste: The artificial orange flavor is not as strong as it is in the aroma, and the malt is much clearer. It's just moderately bitter but still dry in the finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: Artificial but reliable.

Expected a version of blue moon but this is very sweet like you poured OJ in a beer instead of using the peels for bitters … it’s not bad but expect it to be orange heavy and sweet .

Bought a solo can of this at Trader Joe's to take home and wish I had bought a case. This is a very smooth, drinkable wheat with low carbonation and just the right amount of orange sweetness without being overpowering. Smells great like a freshly peeled orange. Unlike Blue Moon, there is no bitterness detected or aftertaste but it is not so sweet that it makes you sick and is definitely not a shandy. The essence is perfect and everything is balanced, my new favorite summer beer. I could suck these down like soda and get in trouble quick. This is what Blue Moon and Shocktop wish they could be. Can't wait to check out more from Tailgate and visit their taprooms in TN.

This was a tasty accompaniment to some spicy hot chicken in Nashville (Hattie’s). It’s only fair, since this is a Nashville micro brewery. The orange flavor and aroma are quite clear, but the taste is characteristic of a wheat beer. So, basically, it’s exactly what you would expect.

Pours a cloudy honey orange with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with little to no lacing. Aroma of orange and perfumey potpourri. Taste follows nose.

Can. Misty gold with a scum like white head.
Orange and mild spice to the nose.
Taste as per smell with grain like qualities including a light bitter flavour.
Light and refreshing feel.
A new style to me and one I'm not sure of.

355ml can from Home Bargains (£1.79):
Hazy, light golden with a half cm, bubbly white head that settles as a thin surface lacing with a still body underneath. Zesty smelling with citrus, orange & perfume-like floral notes that seem slightly artificial & quite sweet. The taste is very similar, lots of zesty orange & floral flavours with a bread & wheat base on top of a finely carbonated body that's sharp & tangy; pleasantly better than expected but not quite anything to write home about either.
