Pours a pretty black in the early am small brown head even from aggressive pour not much lace.
Aroma is lots of chocolate, coffee and vanilla with a lesser amount of marshmallow. lots of roasted malts maybe even a light burnt coffee note. Not bad but maybe lacking a touch.
Taste is pretty much on par with the nose. Lots of chocolate and coffee all around good doses of vanilla with lighter marshmallow sweetness. Finish is dry with vanilla and lingering roasted malts with a light hop kick to keep the cloying at bay.
Mouthfeel is big medium carbonation is lightly peppy.
Overall a big stout that is just inches away from being really good.
