Had Trees: Airheads at Tailgate Chattanooga's taproom on draft into willi becher, and also poured from pint can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "12/10/22," into nonic pint.
Pours deep hazy gold with 1-to 2-finger, foamy near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving a scattered pattern of lace down the glass. Aromas of lemon rind and sweeter citrus off pour, soon joined by aromas of mild hop spice, peach, melon, and some tart berry, turning a bit dank as warms. Begins mild tropical melon and malt flavors, then some pineapple and a little pear over a hint of lactose smoothness, then some peach, before an herbal, slightly-citrus, seltzer-like bite leads into a moderately sticky finish.
This beautifully hazy aroma bomb NEIPA begins nicely and multiply fruity but stumbles before limping to a nearly evanescent finish.
