Nutty, toasty, subtle roast. A smooth lager packed with malty flavors yet still dry and crisp.

Had OFBFB: Munich Dunkel at TailGate Chattanooga's taproom on draft into willi becher.
Pours reddish amber-brown, with clarity and 1-finger light-tan head, with good retention, leaving a little splotchy lace down the glass. Initial aromas of sweet fruit and nutty malt off pour, then a little tart citrus and toasted bread and as warms a little more hop spice. On tasting, begins mildly nutty and sweetly fruity, over a smooth, mild malt base, and then a bit of hop spice and more than a hint of tart citrus carry over mild toasted bread, for a crisp yet substantial finish.
On style as (this series is) advertised, with perhaps a few more hops sneaked in more to suit modern tastes.
