A tart ale with notes of stone fruit and lemon, finished with juicy apricot and a hint of earthy, spicy ginger.

Enjoyed on tap at the TailGate "Headquarters" while visiting Nashville. I quizzed the bartender and he confirmed this is a true wild ale, left open to the air with no inoculation of commercial yeast. It lacks head, as is typical for a wild ale. Hazy straw/ orange color. Inviting, sweet and funky nose. Puckering sourness with fruit, ginger and barnyard flavors. Delicious, truly wild ale that allows the fruit and spice additions to show through.
