Black Lab Brewhouse & Kitchen "Chop Chop"
on tap at the brewery, 25 November 2015
1/2 pint for 2,50€
Notes: "Oatmeal/anena pale ale" Slightly hazy golden body beneath a bright white head that holds well and leaves excellent lacing on the glass. Mild pine/pineapple in the aroma before a background of golden malt. Bold bitterness. Very much an American pale ale. I'm not sure if the pineapple is coming from hops, or if they actually added fruit to it, but I'm pretty sure it's just hops. Nicely done. Well balanced and polished. Nice.
