5.25 euro/pint @ the brewpub.
A: No cap, just an off-white floater. No lacing.
Body is a clear yellow of average vibrance.
Sm: Lactic acid, Lactobacillus bacteria, fruit, lemon, acidity, fresh wheat. Twang. Citrus.
Aromatic intensity is average. Suggests a fresh, refreshing brew with a pleasant flavour.
T&Mf: Twangy acidity and zesty lemon citrus mingle in this fresh flavour profile, with mildly sour (~3/10 in terms of intensity) lactobacillus bacterial character. Fruity and smacky, with a refreshing smoothness and wetness. Well-balanced and quite enjoyable, boasting nice depth of flavour. Flavour duration and flavour intensity are above average.
Light-bodied. Well-carbonated. There's a natural harmony of texture and taste here.
O: Highly drinkable and refreshing. Would be a good summertime choice. It's a solid Berliner Weiss with plenty to offer the discerning drinker. Well worth trying once, though its high price will prevent me from purchasing it again. More good work from Black Lab.
