On tap at Proletariant in NYC; pours clear gold color with a 1 finger head that faded and left minimal spotty lacing and a slick on top.
Smells and tastes of wheat, yeast, straw, toasted grains, caramel, bamboo, dry reeds from a wetlands, wheat and floral hops. A whole bunch of earthy and spicy hops mix in with the grains and toasted wheat. This beer was like I'm getting my fiber for the day, and almost too earthy like a cracked wheat cracker that's pretty dry. Some brown sugar and then some rye characteristics kick in to make it almost chewy. A nice local brew that was just too grainy and one dimensional for me to revisit.
