Very light hay colour, decent froth off of the pour, but dies down to a light pale lacing. Nose is bready with some citrus, taste is again citrus and light fruit..... a bit funky, but otherwise is definitely a "new" style of saison, pretty clean and crisp.... but overall refreshing and a decent saison from Folly....

I am having this from the bottle, and I suspect it was not well capped. Not much of a sound when popped, and almost no carbonation. Flavour is perhaps suffering as a result. Some citrus and light fruits, along with some bubblegum and white pepper. Pretty average. I very much expect that this is a bad rendition of the beer and that it would be better on tap or properly bottled. Arguably the condition makes this review unfair, but surely quality control is part of the package.

Lovely cloudy yellow gold body, white head lots of lacing. Nose and taste are bright lemon and minerality. Feel is nice and clean. Delicious offering, a fine example of a saison.
