This run of the project is lightly tart and showcases tastes of apricots, citrus, and lemon curd inspired acidity. Earthy brett can be found in the aromatics. Invented Tradition #2 finishes with a hint of vanilla which comes from its time in a Southbrook pinot noir barrel.

500ml bottle from the bottleshop. Served cold in a nonic pint.
Slightly hazy orange colour. Not much head or visible carbonation to speak of.
Some spicy and barnyard yeast esters.
This is a sweet, tart, and fruity saison. Lots of bubblegum, ripe pear, and hard-to-place stone fruit flavours going on here. A bit of tannin and barnyard funk too. Delicious. I could drink this all day.
Light and refreshing but also substantial. Might be a bit undercarbonated given it's a saison.
I've enjoyed almost all of Folly's saisons, but there's something particularly satisfying about this one. It's big, boozy, and packed with a bunch of complex and intriguing flavours.
Edit: I just read that this was aged in pinot noir barrels. Now I can really identify the source of the slightly tannic quality I was picking up. As this warms up I can't believe I missed out initially on how intensely it tastes like red wine. Just a wonderful beer.
