Only available at the brewery and brewpub in Aying in 2,0L swing top growlers. A different, slightly stronger beer compared to their Kellerbier.

Grabbed a 2L swing-top growler from the Ayinger brewery store. Best by 23 December 2023. The label states that this is the unfiltered version of their Jahrhundert. Has the qualities of an export beer, with that bit of added strength, with the extra body and fullness of an unfiltered beer. A bit pricey at €29 for the beer and growler but worth it for a special and unique brewery-only beer.

On tap while on a brewery tour. You can only get this on a tour. Very much on the cloudy side yet still golden. White frothy head. Aroma is biscuity, butter, lemon zest, light clove with traces of banana. There is a good dryness in the nose.The taste is lemon, clove, twinges of nutmeg, yeasty, bready, a little bit of a buttery texture with a light dry finish. When they finish this beer it turns into a Keller beer. This beer is not completly brewed. Not easy to get, a good find when on the tour and a very tasty.
