It remains a mystery to me how this much alcohol can be concealed... until it isn't. So, this may be a short review for me.
My first from Kees, I'm impressed that they are this micro, overlooking the edge of a famous floodplain, seems not to fear the sea or high ABV. (Am I poet and don't know it?... If I am, then I rarely show it... unless juiced @ 14.4 ABV.) Anyhow, I've not seen a micro who has 2/3 of their brews above 10 ABV on BA.
I'm also impressed by their website. Very sophisticated visuals and videos. Only one big problem: I couldn't find the English button. (This is my common complaint with provincial Bavarians, but I'm surprised to have this problem with the Dutch, being cosmopolitan.) Anyhow, about this brew.
Fate Loves The Fearless will knock your socks off even after you thought they are still on. It certainly doesn't Look dangerous, in truth it Looks harmless. It also doesn't Smell like an alcoholic bomb; some fruit, but no warning about what is to come. Same really for Tastes; from attack to finish, I get almost no fumes. But it certainly is full in my mouth, even chewy, like a good substitute for dessert... so at least I abstained from that. Proost !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
