Summertimer Witbier

Poured from a crowler into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and moderate lacing. Aroma of wheat malt, lemon, mild mixed light stone fruit and coriander. Flavor is a somewhat full bodied wheat malt, hints of caramel and light stone fruit, orange and clove with a slight hop or coriander bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess and bright carbonation. A very nice witbier that has a little more body than typical, but a flavor profile that is authentic and pleasant. The creaminess suggests some oats in the mix, mouth feel in great. A little more complexity to the fruit than I expected, but it doesn't hurt the traditional witbier profile. I liked this one quite a bit. Looks, smells, tastes and feels good.
