Jungle of Love Vol. II is juicy and tart, bursting with tropical Pink Guava and Oranges, handpicked and fermented in unison! This hand crafted fruited sour uses Columbian jungle fruits which are ripe to perfection, which provides the layered citrus complexity. 12 IBU.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My seventh beer from the Oakville, ON brewery.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Mar 14 2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours turbid orange with a pinkish hue, producing two fingers of fluffy, foamy white head that wilts within five minutes' time. A creamy collar and frothy cap live on, with a tight ring of even lace clinging tenaciously to the glass - looks really nice so far. Pink guava, orange juice, bubblegum and bready wheat on the nose, with subtle armpit funk and a faint strawberry-kiwi vibe.
It's a tasty little fruit sour, with the pink guava specifically being the star of the show. Bready, wheaty malt sweetness plays a supporting role, with juicy orange and citric sourness developing by mid-sip; moderately tart, with some light lactic funkiness on the back end. Guava lingers into the aftertaste, fading a few moments later. Medium in body, with low carbonation and a juicy mouthfeel - this works fairly well with the guava theme, but the end result feels a little limp and not all that refreshing.
Final Grade: 3.79, a B+. I would recommend Cameron's Jungle of Love Vol. II to any beer geek seeking out a guava sour, though I wouldn't necessarily hold it up as a superlative example. I enjoyed this more than Volume I, but my verdict is ultimately the same: while this is good enough to drink again, we're talking like a couple of times per summer. Then again, this is presumably a one-time seasonal, so re-drinkability is not really a major concern - I await the arrival of Volume III.
