At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From Allen's Supermarket here in McGregor. Best before December 2/25. My eleventh beer from the Oakville, Ontario brewery, and fourth for 2025. Respected and loved by Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Aug 29 2024 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a relatively clear golden-yellow colour, its clarity marred by countless flecks of sediment; floating atop is nearly one finger of tight, foamy white head that fades within a couple of minutes. A thin collar is left encircling a filmy cap, with good lace deposition as the level drops with each sip - looks fine to me. Low-key aroma; I'm getting hints of orange, peach and pineapple, with suggestions of passion fruit and grapefruit.
Tasty stuff - fruity and flavourful with restrained bitterness. Bready pale malts and wheat sweetness provide a scaffold on which hoppier notes of pineapple, orange, peach and passion fruit can strut their stuff. Stays fruity through the finish, joined by notes of pithy hops and mild piney bitterness; these flavours dissipate rapidly, leaving the palate off-dry. Medium in body, with low-ish carbonation that brushes gently across the surface of the tongue; the mouthfeel is smooth and satisfying. Great drinkability - I could see myself enjoying a few of these in a row.
Final Grade: 3.93, a B+. Cameron's Good Trip isn't the most exciting IPA I've ever had, but I do think it's a solid one nonetheless. Nice mix of citrus, tropical and stone fruit flavours/aromas that work very well together, with low bitterness and no sign of that 6.5% - not much to complain about here. About what I've come to expect from a Cameron's IPA: good, but not amazing. Worth a try if you can find it fresh.

473ml can from the LCBO. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Fairly clear, rich golden color with a couple of fingers of white fluffy head. Good amounts of streaky lacing left behind.
Smell - Tangerine and some pineapple with a subtle weediness as well. Plenty of caramel malts backing things up.
Taste - Crisp and clean, fairly bitter with tangerine and pineapple again. Balanced with solid malt base. Sweetness comes back at the end.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Semi-dry finish, yet there is a juicy element.
Overall - Just a pretty solid IPA from a brewery that is pretty consistent.
