At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from their boxset at my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My fourth beer from the Oakville brewery.

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in Cameron's Smile Pack; coded Feb 14 2024 and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy and translucent, its pale golden-coloured body capped with over an inch of soapy, foamy white head that recedes within three or four minutes. A modest collar of frothy suds lives on, with snaking strands of lace generated from a swirl of the glass - looks normal enough for the style. Mild aroma comprised of orange juice and bready wheat sweetness; maybe a very faint whiff of green banana and yeast spiciness.
Very straightforward, but it's palatable enough to get the job done. Flavours of orange juice, bready wheat and crackery sweetness come through, with suggestions of unripe banana, apples and faintly peppery spice. Orange zest dissipates into a slightly citrusy, wheaty, yeasty aftertaste that doesn't linger for long. Light in body, with highly assertive carbonation that seems appropriate, given the theme. Refreshing and very drinkable, but it's kinda mundane and only vaguely reminiscent of an actual mimosa
Final Grade: 3.59, a B grade. If you choose to judge this based solely on how well they pulled off the mimosa angle, then Cameron's Mimosa Orange Wheat Ale might not fare very well. However, if you're just looking for a light summer wheat ale with a spritz of orange added to the mix, then this might be just what the doctor ordered. I don't go out of my way for these fruity summer wheat dealies, but this is an unobjectionable one where the pale wheat ale isn't totally overwhelmed by the fruit - i.e. I still feel like I'm drinking a real beer. I'd drink this again if the weather called for it.
