Rocket science isn’t just for orbital mechanics; it’s for brewing great beer, too. This incredibly tropical light IPA will take you on adventures that are out of this world. With El Dorado and Luminosa dry hops, boosters are fired, all systems are go, and you’re ready to launch.
Light body presenting with bread and crisp malt base notes. Ripe rind and citrus forward fruit bouquet leading with tangerine and lime pop. Totally crushable and very refreshing, Rocket Science Light IPA is your new go to brew!
IBU: 15 | Hops: Luminosa and El Dorado

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. No date stamp or lot number. My 13th beer from the Oakville, Ontario brewery, and 1st for 2026. Embraced by Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded D1325 - or maybe B1525? Either way, it's from early 2025. Served slightly chilled.
Pours a mostly-clear golden yellow colour, its complexion mottled with countless flecks of silty sediment. Two fingers of foamy white head lasts for nearly five minutes, eventually whittled down to a tight, creamy collar and a sudsy cap. A full coat of lace is also deposited - it's a highly visually appealing beer. I'm getting hints of peach, mango and papaya on the nose, with suggestions of orange peel, melon and pear.
It's a mellow, fruity-tasting session IPA with near-negligible bitterness. Tropical fruits such as guava, papaya and mango come to mind, though there are also notes of wheat, peach drink, watermelon and orange peel. Faint hints of resin and green tea at the finish, with stone fruits fading into an off-dry aftertaste. Light in body, with restrained carbonation that gently agitates the surface of the palate, contributing to this brew's smooth mouthfeel. Superb drinkability: I could pound this beer all evening, and I'm not sure I'd tire of doing so.
Final Grade: 3.93, a B+. As session IPAs go, Cameron's Rocket Science is much better than average - and while that probably isn't enough to earn this brew a slot in my regular rotation, it does mean that I'd encourage light IPA fans to give it a shot. Sometimes I'll complain about session IPAs as being like "hop tea" - well, this one is more like fruited hop tea, which actually turns out to be a step up. The almost total lack of bitterness also makes for an exceptionally crushable pale ale - one which Cameron's ought to consider bringing back on an annual basis.
