Crafted with ripe strawberries, this milkshake IPA is a real treat.
Velvety, fruit-forward and pouring a hazy pink, each sip layers gentle fragrant berry aroma with light vanilla undertones and a refreshingly smooth finish.
Best enjoyed with friends who don't skip dessert.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Mar 4 2026 and served barely chilled. Also known as "Ronnie's Strawberry Milkshake IPA".
Pours a hazy pinkish-orange colour, its body rife with flocculent sediment that clouds up its complexion. One finger of tight, foamy white head disintegrates within a minute or two, reduced to a thin collar of froth and a few wisps on the surface; modest lace deposition after each sip. Ripe strawberry on the nose, as well as notes of raspberry, cherry, vanilla and cream.
A pleasant, mild IPA with low bitterness and moderate sweetness. The ripe strawberry flavour is immediately evident, paired with notes of vanilla, cherry and orange creamsicle; wheaty, bready malts provide some underlying structural support. Finishes with more strawberries and cream before dissipating into a slightly sweet aftertaste. Medium-full in body, with low carbonation and a silky-smooth mouthfeel that makes for an exceptionally drinkable IPA.
Final Grade: 3.93, a B+. As far as milkshake IPAs go, Cameron's Strawberry Milkshake IPA is pretty even-handed: the strawberries supply some extra sweetness, but it's not a sugary lactose bomb like some examples of this style. Another point in its favour is that the strawberry flavour comes off as authentic - the Barbe Rouge hops were also a smart pick, as they complement the strawberry nicely. If you're looking for a strawberry beer, but don't generally care for IPAs, I'd make an exception in this case - it's not particularly bitter, or even all that "IPA-like". Not a beer I feel the need to drink on a regular basis, but I'm sure I'll buy this again before summer's end.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a Teku glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. Canned March 4/26. My 17th beer from the Oakville, Ontario brewery, and 5th for 2026. Blatantly admired while relaxing by Gracie...
