November 2016: 330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 4.7%. Pale straw colour, large white head. Aroma of saison yeast and pepper, only a hint of cloudberries, also hints of soap. Light bodied. Dry flavour, some citrussy and berry notes, also peppery and yeasty notes. Easy drinking, refreshing.

Best before date: 27.10.18, 50cl can bought in Rauma.
A: pale, yellow, crystal clean, with a small white-head with minimal retention.
S: nose is very intense with a lot of things going on, juicy stone fruits with a tropical scent, wild, sour, earthy berries mixed with spicy, yeasty notes. My only experience with cloudberries is the Cantillon Soleil de Minuit, so it's hard for me to pick up the distinct cloudberries note, but this saison is more fruity than its lamic counterpart but share a common earthy and at the same time tropical profile. Very interesting to say the least.
T: Taste follows with a bit less intensity, less earthy notes. It is crisp and fruity, juicy but with less sourness than expected from the nose. Yeasts dominate in the aftertase, mixed with a quite strong bitterness (not a hoppy one, maybe from the clouberries), that lingers on the palate.
M: Thin body with a high carbonation, very crisp and refreshing. Finishes on the dryer side, which is a good thing.
O: I really enjoyed this beer, which has a pretty uncommon flavor profile.
