My first BG beer, served in a 12oz snifter at the beer market in Vernon Hills. Poured a hazy orange with a white half inch head. This dropped quickly in the glass, but pretty impressive lacing. Smelled of tropical fruit and citrus, maybe mandarin orange. Tastes like it smells, with some hop oil astringency. Little more malt flavor than some DIPA, but it works. Heavy mouthfeel for the style, but again, it works. Overall, a really strong beer. You should seek and destroy.

Sweet, malty, creamy.
Definitely unlike any other Imperial IPA I've had before.

Honestly this is my favorite beer from Banging Gavel. Tons of sweet malt with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Way to go man. Also, the freebie is much appreciated.
