Pours a toffee, nutty burgundy-brown with a finger of beige foam. Aroma is toasty, nutty, bready, and earthy malts with cinnamon, vanilla, fig, and toffee adding additional depth. It leans sweet, but the strong malt base keeps it from deterring too far from balance. Flavor profile is roasty, nutty, bready, and earthy malts. Cinnamon, fig, and toffee accentuate the highpoints, adding some sweetness and depth. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a real creamy and velvety texture that leads to a plush mouth feel. Overall, a plush and creamy brown ale that uses the flavor additions of cinnamon and vanilla to elevate both the sweetness and dryness. The end product is balance.
