This beer is back! The brand and the beer has been relaunched, it's brewed in Detroit at a state-of-the-art facility and it's fantastic. The new recipe is top-notch and is possible because of Brewmaster Ken Belau (previously at Bell's and Labatt). The beer has the brilliant look of an American lager, and smells of delectable hops directly from Michigan. In fact, the hops and barley are from Michigan, the glass is Michigan-made and the beer is brewed in Corktown, the oldest part of Detroit. It has the right price point, and at 5.0% alcohol, it packs the perfect punch. Kudos to this Michigan brand! The label screams "American-made", and there is a bit of a "badass" in all of us.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
