Nov. 2016: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of tropical fruits. Smooth and fruity / hoppy flavour, notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit and pine needles.

A clear light orange body, lots of bright hops, heavy on the grapefruit flesh, pith and zest. The close is sticky dry, but the fruit persists, make for a pleasant linger. A feisty one.

On tap at FFF Brewpub. Nothing too special; just a fairly caramel-forward beer with a bit of biscuit and malt, minerals and light grassy and citrus bitterness throughout. It is nowhere on the level of Alpha King.

On-draught @ Mikkeller Bar Barcelona. My first Warpigs beer! (I think?)
A: ~2cm wide frothy creamy head of off-white colour. Retention is nice - ~5 minutes.
Body is a pale copper of average vibrance. No yeast, lees, or sediment is visible within.
Sm: Orange juice, melon rind, citrus fruit Pulp, pale malts.
Above average aromatic intensity.
T: Delivers on all the hoppy promises of the aroma, with a balancing undertone of pale malt sweetness present throughout. Quite enjoyable, if a bit lacking in terms of depth of flavour.
Mf: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, well-carbonated, and enjoyable. Complements the taste quite well.
O: Drinkable and enjoyable, but not a paragon of its style. I expected better from Mikkeller/3 Floyds (I.e. Warpigs). I wouldn't pay this price for it again (3.50 euro per 20cl), but it's a nice little APA.
