Copenhagen 26/5 2026. 44 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Warpigs usual design with the boar head and skull in red on the black can.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable and frothy. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of fermented stone fruit mingling with a sharp scent of citrus fruit. Mango, overripe peaches and alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon. A little rough.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
A brutal boar.

My wife and I were returning home from Thanksgiving and 3 Floyd's was on the way and at a good time for an early dinner (finally!). I had been wanting to visit forever, but without success until this day. This beer is a collaboration beer between WarPigs & 3 Floyd's so I decided to try it out.
This beer pours a cloudy, orangish amber hue that shows off light carbonation and a white, creamy/frothy head that dissipates slowly to a thin layer with a neck. 4/5 The aroma is quite tropical with papaya, mango, and tangerine leading the way, but with a malty backing from white bread and caramel. Well balanced aroma. 4/5 Light caramel and cereal grains lead off the flavor profile with white bread coming through on their heels. Tropical fruit and the associated hop bitterness show up extremely quickly, providing very little time in the mouth with no bitterness of hops. As the beer warms a bit of white pepper spiciness shines through on the back end. The bitterness is moderate here and lingers for quite some time. 4.25/5 A light carbonation burn leads the way, transitioning to a medium body with a wet and coating nature. Dryness is very light and lingers for just a short time after swallowing. 4/5 This is a well crafted, almost simplistic, DIPA that really shows off the hops without becoming unbalanced or getting overly complicated in the flavor profile. Very enjoyable. 4/5

On tap at Three Floyd's. Nothing too special. Alcohol comes through over citrus.

Had this at 3F. Enjoyable brew - smells and mouthfell is all you'd want from a solid DIPA, but the orange was just a bit too much from a taste perspective. I like that 3F has some of these brews on tap.

Hazy orange, moderate lacing. Pine and lemon nose, flavor much the same. Bitter biting close, a bit harsh. Decent, but slightly over-bitter. Still hides its 8.7 well.
