On-tap served in a stemmed glass at Mikkeller Bangkok.
Hazy in texture with fairly deep amber orange hue, it comes with very thick creamy off-white head that stays with very good retention before slowly collapsing to an everlasting bubble film atop and leaving lots of lacing web on the glass-side.
Loads of fruity citrus take a lead in the aroma together with peach, mango, and tropical fruit, it is also nicely complement with notes of floral, pine, yet some earthy and grassy. Malt is undertone with its biscuit, orange candy, and subtle caramel.
The taste is harmoniously balance with hop a bit more pronounced over malt. Malt lays in the background as a core structure while hop unfolds at front providing its zesty citrus, peach, mango, tropical fruit, pine, earthy, grassy, and moderate to bold bitter kick.
The body is medium with smooth mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The feeling is crisp and refreshing with a dry finish. Another good example of what APA is all about.
