Dec. 2016: On tap, as Warpigs Vargtass, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy pale straw colour, low white head. Acidic and fruity aroma and flavour, notes of lingonberries and lemons.

Had on tap at Warpigs in Copenhagen.

Lovely bright yellow with little head.

Smell is full of mango and yoghurt, very fresh and clean.

Taste is crisp and tangy, with a note of honey combining with the yoghurt and mango from the nose.

Mouthfeel is crisp and light, with lively carbonation.

Overall a really refreshing beer, tart and fruity. Good stuff!

A 750ml bottle with a best before date of 7th July 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A hazy golden yellow colour with a big three finger white head that had dissipated fairly quickly but left nice lacing.

Aroma: Tangy and lightly tart citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Lemon zest, lychee, peach, apricot and red berries.

Taste: Sour and tart lemon juice, cranberry and sour berries.

Mouthfeel: Crisp, dry, light bodied with high carbonation.

Overall: Wonderfully refreshing and great to drink.

Typical hazy yellow body. A nose of funk, cheesy with lactic, body elements. Nearly put me off, but the flavor is lovely sour fruit, lemon curd and yogurt. Very nice rendition.

Warpigs Varg Tass with Seabuckthorn | 3.6% ABV $5 Tulip
Sour - Berliner Weisse
Compares very well with other BW. I didn't pick up the Seabuckthorn as much as Jolly Pumkin's Seabuckthorn Fandango. Smells great and is acidic for first taste as it should be.

Basic berlinner weisse.....could use a bigger punch of tart as I was left wanting more.

On tap at FFF. Pours a light yellow golden body, one finger white head, good carbonation, good lacing. Smells essentially like a berliner weisse, which is what it is. Nice moderate lactic tartness, grainy wheat, lemon. Flavour is similar, and does a great job of cleaning off the palate in between sips of the other pale ales on tap from Warpigs. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, good carbonation, nice and tart lemon on the finish.
