Feb. 2017: 750 ml bottle, as Warpigs CAPS LOCK Coffee IPA, at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.6%. Slightly hazy deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Strong aroma of coffee, blended with piney and fruity hops. The flavour is a bit on the dry side, with the coffee notes too dominant for my taste, the hops are quite overshadowed, and the moderate bitterness seems to come more from the coffee than the hops.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, yellow session, served on nitro. Aroma is bright with green coffee beans and earthy hops. Taste follows with bright coffee notes, medium to light bitterness and earthy hops.

This is a conventional, yet enjoyable take on the coffee IPA. The bitterness of both the coffee and the hops play off each other quite well. And while my personal preference is more geared towards slightly sweeter/fruitier IPA's, this is quite drinkable.
This is rocksolid. My main concern is the mouthfeel which could use just a little bit more carbonation. Nontheless, this is very good.
