Copenhagen 24/5 2026. 44 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Black can in WarPigs' usual design with a boar head and skulle in yellow.
Pours unclear yellow with a mid-sized frothy white head. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruits mingling with a subdued citric scent. Sweet peach and apricot, Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness with a light tart undertone. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Well balanced Tank.

Solid IPA with big, juicy, and piney flavors. Perhaps a little rough around the edges, but it satisfies that hop craving. Fresh and pretty tasty. Had on tap at War Pigs in July 2025.

Oct. 2019: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Cloudy yellow colour, white head. Fruity aroma and flavour (citrus, tropical fruits), also fairly distinct notes of pine needles. Reasonably bitter finish.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends.
Pours a hazy yelow with thick, soft foam.
Smell is very tropical, with mango and pineapple being the main components.
Taste is very refreshing an tropical. Mango, melon and pineapple team with a soft bitterness for a very balanced and drinkable pale ale.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific pale ale, with a lot of flavor for the ABV.

From can. Really hazy pale yellow color. Juicy, fruity, milky yeast. Taste is juicy, fruity, melon notes, herbal bitterness. Dry feel, medium body and carbonation. Juicy, fruity, textbook NE style IPA.

On draft in pint glass at WarPigs Brewpub in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Deep yellow cloudy/opaque appearance. Very floral and sweet nose. Taste follows with tropical notes (Mosaic hops??) and finishes mildly bitter and dry. This is a very flavorful beer for only a 5.3% pale ale.
