Was a very limited run, and I had the good luck to try it at Porters Pub in Easton, Pennsylvania a few years ago. I like barleywines in general, and the Dad's Hat aging really made the base Insanity (which is already delicious) so much more flavorful. Wish I woulda had more, or could've bought a bottle or two. Sadly, it was on tap only.

Had this on tap at the brewery along with Insanity 365 and Big Woody (Blithering Idiot aged in Woodford). All three are exceptional. Here you get a bit of the sharp, astringent vermouth barrel and tons of dark fruit, raisin, brulee sugar, vanilla and char... pretty poundable despite the hefty ABV... i liked 365 better, though
