Served from tap in a tumbler at the brewpub.
My first time officially at the bar at the new location, I start my visit off with their new saison (complete with Broadway reference). It pours a slightly hazy brass topped by a short finger of dirty white foam. The nose comprises lemon zest, Belgian yeast, light clove, and a hint of orange peel. The taste brings in more of the same, with a healthy addition of extra spices, some black pepper, and a twinge of something akin to greenery. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly drying-ish finish. Overall, a very solid saison, something I look forward to having again on subsequent visits.
