Bomber pours an effervescent clear yellow/straw color with 2+ fingers of tight creamy white head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Grassy notes, not much else
T: Grassy flavor, some lemon & grainyness up front. Some honey, a touch of biscuitty malt, a bit of passion fruit & more lemon hops as this warms. Finishes with lemony & grassy hops & a bit of honey malt
MF: Light/medium bodied with fair balance, but a bit of pricklyness on the carbonation
Drinks alright, this a bit too simple for my liking. I could knock a a few back on a warm day, but other than nothing to get excited about

On tap at Bobbie's Place in Leadville.
It pours a beautiful golden with good head and retention. Aromas of biscuits, pepper, and honey. Honey is a dominant flavor, though from the marketing and brewery website, I don't think they used any real honey in this. It's balanced by nice bready malt flavors. The overall impression is hindered by a biting hop finish--too peppery?--and a slightly slick mouthfeel. Nonetheless, this is tasty enough as a session beer, and it's one of the best light(er) ales on tap in Leadville these days.
This isn't a blonde ale that will blow anyone's mind, but it gets the job done--tasty, serviceable, and fairly easy to drink. Grab a pint if you happen to see it on tap around Colorado.
