Presentation: 22 oz bomber, brown label, no date info.
Appearance: Pours dark brown with red around the edges, thin head but it has good retention.
Smell: Caramel malt, just a bit of roast.
Taste: Roasted flavor dominates, but its not overpowering. Medium bodied, smooth flavors.
Overall impression: This is a solid brown, almost porter-like in many aspects.

Pours deep caramel/chestnut with 2 fingers of sand colored head. Above average head retention & lacing
S: Nice toasty malt & not much else
T: Toasty malt, chocolate, dryness, some herbal hops & a touch of grainyness up front. Dryness, baker's chocolate & more toasty malt as this warms. Finishes dry with nice toastyness, & herbal hops. Almost pulled a 4.5
MF: Medium-bodied, smooth, a bit wet, but overall has great balance & restrained carbonation
Drinks pretty easy, a very nice brown
