Light body with an Irish stout sort of mouthfeel. More dark ruby grown than black in color, and clear in the tall goblet. Some prickly carbonation with a watery body. More creamy fizz in the mouth would improve the stuff.
Rather grainy with a Malt O Meal cereal taste. A modest amount of scorched barley. This is a simple pleasure. Reminds me of my more successful home brews. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the brewpub in Prescott Valley. This place is a welcome addition to what has been a fairly anemic beer scene in Arizona.
