650 mL bottle. Hazy orange body. Smell is grapefruit and orange citrus. Booze. Lots of pale malt. Taste has sweet pale malt. Dries out quickly. Orange hops. Grapefruit in the back end. Pithy bitterness. Highly attenuated for 8%. Dry. Surprisingly low sweetness. Medium body. I thought it would be much sweeter. Still a big IPA.

Hmmm. Good but not as good as Lush. Great aroma of sweet tropical fruits and pine if not for the hints of booze coming through. Nice golden color but a little on the murky side of haze. For flavor we have some really nice tropical and citrus hop character as expected from the aroma but the bitterness and alcohol are a little more pronounced than I hoped for. Good beer that I would buy again.

bottled 7/7/16. hazed golden appearance with a dense white head - great retention and lacing.
peach, grapefruit, grassyness and pine on the nose. grapefruit, pithy citrus, and pine on the palate. very little malt presence to balance, so its a bit on the bitter side but not overly so. however the booze does come out a bit as it warms. mouthfeel is medium bodied and a tad high on the carbonation, slightly prickly. still some of that creamyness that is characteristic of Frost IPAs. overall there isnt anything wrong with this IPA except a touch of booze that shouldnt be showing - however it is a bit of a dissapointment because the other Frost beers are so freaking juicy and smooth. regardless, this is a nice ale.
