Confused at what the intentions of what Frost was aiming for in this beer, I ended up pouring into a weizen glass and a becher pint glass. Here’s the rest: The appearance was a burnt hazy yellow/almost orange color with a sustaining film of a white little head in the weizen glass. Totally dies off in the becher glass. Both glasses have no lacing. The aroma in both glasses takes the weizen yeast (crisp subtle banana esters), subtle bubblegum, light spicy clove underneath. Light sweet grassiness. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides light allowing the spice to hit appropriately on my tongue, not overbearing, but nice. Overall, not sure what this was supposed to be, but despite the identity crisis, it's a damn good beer all around.

all of the beer these guys are making is good, and most of it, if not all of it, is hoppy. this is real hoppy for a summer wheat, but its not all that belgian, might be classified incorrectly here, i dont get a lot of yeast on this one. instead its a really light but fluffy clean white wheat malt base with a sturdy fruity hopping. for me its lemongrass and tangerine on the nose, with a bit more of a tropical flavor, spearheaded by pineapple. the hops are awesome on this, and never bitter at all, even though its sort of a session wheat ipa. some round body here, a ton of carbonation prickly the whole way, and a nice dry finish. its a different kind of summer beer, more flavorful than most and more hoppy. this is very much in that east coast cloudy heavily dry hopped category, its really solid, and infinitely drinkable. i loved all the beers here, and as subtle as this one is in some ways compared to the rest, it really was one of my favorites they have done. beer drinkers summer beer without question!

good looking brew, wheat, grains, yeast on the nose. really liking the grains used - beautifully clean and just a touch of bitterness from the hops comes through, making this beer super crisp and highly drinkable. also getting this pop of bubblegum from the yeast - really nice stuff here!
