Have loved the brewery for a while, especially the double Plush and Lush. Just got this Frosty Pig, which is a collaboration between Frost Beer Works and Prohibition Pig.
Opened can, hit immediately with tropical, sweet notes. Mostly mango and tangerine. Pour shows again a tangerine, opaque brew. Two finger head. Very full mouth feel. Tropical flavors on taste more subdued than would be expected on the smell. Wonderful beer

Canned 03/12/18.
As per can: 6.0% abv.
Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a cloudy golden body with some lacing that dissipates fairly quickly. Nose of mainly citrus with a bit of tropical fruit. Taste of orange, pink grapefruit, and ruby red grapefruit. Soft feel and overall, a nice VT/NEIPA collab. Cheers!

Sharing a pint from a can dated 05Jan18 expectation was high. With every brewery pushing NEIPA’s, we were hoping this one would stand apart. Kick a can down the road as you drink this collaboration of two otherwise great breweries. Medium all around I guess but so much more out there to choose from. To style...yes, but then to bed.

Canned on 01/05/2018.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking chill hazy coppery orange color with a slim quarter finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Nice concave lace ran around the glass nicely.
The aroma captured a tremendous blend of orange juice, ruby red grapefruit juice, some pulpy bitterness from both fruits and a clean bitttersweet pine underlying further.
The flavor was fully bittersweet taking the orange juice to the grapefruit juice and pinching in that piney-ness pretty nicely. Quick orange juice to grapefruit juicy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt nice and low with a subtle stickiness starting to come through, but not cloying. ABV felt on par. Finish was strong with the hoppy bitterness.
Overall, pretty nice as a New England styled IPA. Definitely one I'd seek again.

From a 16oz can, dated 01/05/18. Served in a spiegelau.
Pours a moderately hazy, pale orange-gold with two fingers of loose, bubbly, cream-coloured soap suds. Retention is pretty good, leaving a few scattered, slippery clumps of lacing.
Smells like lemon cupcakes and citrus perfume. Sweet, citrusy and floral. Nice.
Taste takes a surprising 180° to the nose with a first impression of dry soda crackers and white pepper followed by lemon pith and orange oils. Moderately bitter, earthy, spicy and dry, but finishes with a bit of the juice and some of that aromatic fruity-sweet floral character.
Feel is dry and crisp, medium-light bodied and brightly carbonated.
Overall, an interesting beer and one which I enjoyed much more the second can than the first when I was disappointed by the discord between nose and taste. The palate is actually rather complex when you spend some time with it and I'm still trying to untangle whether it is sweetly bitter or bitterly sweet. At any rate, it left me with some nice lemony hop oils coating my tongue.

Had this on draft twice this year at the Pro Pig Brewery and also from bottles. It's really got a mix of both breweries going on which seems fitting. I preferred draft, but that's to be expected. It's super hazy with a dry finish. There is a heavy yeast character which steers it away from juicy and into more complex territory. Leaves you wanting more with each sip.

Poured from the bottle into a snifter.
Pours a hazy medium blonde with one finger of head.
Aromas are a lot of lemon zest and mild hops.
Flavor also really showcased the lemon. Mellow.
Mouthfeel was excellent and soft.
Overall, a mild tasting beer with good lemon quality.

22oz bomber(s) in an IPA glass.
Pours a light yellow-golden color, low SRM. A 3F white fluffy cap retains well and leaves heavy lacing. Bubbly through the slight haze. A very good look.
As the label suggests, a juicy fruit aroma; lots of fruits, citrus and the like, some with just a touch sweet. Then the pine, fresh and sappy.
Lots of pine and fruits. A sturdy malt flavor, clean and moist.
Oats and pine build the body. Light resins, hoppy and bitter and pleasant
all at once. Lingering flavorful finish.
Bottled 8/18/16. I drank one right away, one recently. They were much the same, the beer held up. It's a friendly drinker with hops and body, and the right abv.
